Under her label MME A-S DÅVIK Anna-Sara Dåvik designs garments and jewellery of timeless elegance. To accompany Tiger of Sweden’s Fall/Winter collection Dåvik has created a curved silver neck-ring holding a black agate stone at its tip. The neck-ring can be worn on its own or with its sculptural front-piece. The first one of its kind, the neck-ring is made of recycled sterling silver and was handcrafted by Dåvik’s father, who is a goldsmith and makes all the MME A-S DÅVIK jewellery in his studio in Gothenburg. Dåvik found the oval-shaped black agate in an old Stockholm shop: ‘In Östermalm there’s a company that started selling stones in 1919. I go there from time to time to look through the old envelopes, largely forgotten today. To me they’re filled with treasures,’ Dåvik says.’

We see the duality of Jansson’s life and career as the primary influence. His career had two distinct artistic periods– nighttime landscape painting and daytime male portraits.

One of the most unique characteristics of denim is that the fabric develops overtime. Unique wear marks will appear after wearing your jeans overtime.

Denim is a staple in any wardrobe no matter the season. To make sure your Tiger of Sweden jeans last longer we have compiled a denim care guide to prolong the lifespan of these wardrobe essentials.

Modern Movement - This season, Modern Movement highlights six women who in different ways represent open-minded, critical, participatory and inspiring ways of pushing progress through creative work.

The vacation edit

Bask in our curated edit of sunshine-worthy vacation pieces - perfect for mastering out-of-office chic.

Besides being a lawyer, Dona Hariri is always busy starting a multitude of conversations by organizing panels and debates, hosting lectures and TV-shows. She is often described as being a crucial voice for the most marginalized groups in society. The third project within our Objects line is a limited series of unique, handcrafted vases, created together with Pilglas and crafted by the glassblower Lennart Nissmark at Studio Glashyttan in Åhus. The project is paying homage to Sweden´s tradition of glassmaking and overall crafts heritage.

The collection consists of 43 unique, mouth-blown glass vases designed by Studio Trojka and Jonas Larsen. 30 of the 43 vases are used in our own stores, and 13 of the pieces will be available for purchase, either through tigerofsweden.com or through our Stockholm flagship store at Biblioteksgatan.

For our Spring/Summer 2020 collection, we take inspiration from the solice and lush surroundings of Hammarby, Swedish scientist Carl von Linné's country estate outside of Uppsala. To Linné, Hammarby was a place of exploration, contemplation and beauty. This is where he went to get recharged and inspired, in between publishing his 70+ books and 300+ scientific studies. To us, spending time in the woods and on the fields surrounding Hammarby became an explorative journey, taking us back in time and closer to the wonders of nature than we've ever been before.

Together with Swedish furniture company Gärsnäs, Tiger of Sweden is reintroducing Peter Celsing and Erik Karlström’s Club chair. The chair was designed as part of the interiors for Filmhuset in Stockholm, a modern brutalist building at the edge of Gärdet in the North East of the city.

The chair is as bold as the building it was drawn for, fusing sharp lines with smooth curves and chromed stainless steel with soft natural leather. With its strong design expression, Celsing and Karlström’s piece is a modern yet timeless interpretation of the classic club chair.

Swedish Grace; Artistic movement, encompassing architecture, design and craft that emerged in the 1920’s. Also known as Nordic Classism. A short but intensely creative period that coincided with Sweden’s transition into a modern, industrialized nation. The style was a clear break from the national romantic and jugend styles that predated it. Taking inspiration from classical antiquity, with clean lines, restrained proportions and spare, considered surface decoration, the style can be seen as a bridge to the radically modern style of functionalism. The style came to have an international breakthrough at the Paris Exhibition of 1925 and paved way to international success for Swedish design and craft.

Fall Winter 2021 prints come courtesy of photographs captured by Kacper Kasprzyk showcasing an exploration of fleeting moments in life, the mundane yet essential, imbued with a celebration of light and shadow.

Summer 2022: Klässbols

The starting point of our summer collection was the exploration of craft – an unwavering appreciation of artisanship. With a combined commitment to quality craftsmanship, collaborating with Swedish heritage brand Klässbols Linneväveri was a natural fit for the collection.

Maintaining a high quality in all our products is essential for us at Tiger of Sweden. Our aim is to create long-lasting garments based on high quality, craftsmanship and a contemporary yet timeless design expression . Each collection is thoroughly reviewed by our quality- and product teams in order to minimise quality issues. To secure a smooth process, we work exclusively with highly skilled fabric- and garment suppliers, many of whom have been our partners for a long time. We also follow rigorous quality routines in all stages of production, to ensure that our high-quality standards are met.

Care for your jewellery

All jewellery will naturally oxidize and age with scratches. Be careful with the Corsages, mean scratches will be visible on the large surface. Since the jewellery is real crafted silver, specialists in silver craft can most likely repair and treat the jewellery to make it look new again. Hand marks and exposure to air make the jewelry oxidize which can be polished with a silver cloth – this is a natural process for any untreated sterling silver. Please make sure the jewelry are handle with care. They should not be exposed to pressure from weights.

Storage: Store your jewelry separately in boxes or pouches in a dry and cool space. Do not store in paper, cardboard, or cotton-filled boxes that could contain traces of sulfur. Keep all jewelry from direct contact with water, soap, cosmetics and body lotions, perfumes or other chemical products in order to protect it from the development of stains or patina.

Cleaning: Clean your jewelry regularly with a polishing cloth to maintain its appearance and remove accumulated patina, and make sure to carefully wipe off any make-up residue, lotion or skin oil after each wear.

For Tiger of Sweden Women Spring/Summer 2019 we explore the power of dreams and hazy visions of the perfect summer day. Embracing imagination’s ability to blend memory and fantasy, we take inspiration from summers past and the yearning for ease and comfort of warm days when the sun never sets.

At Tiger of Sweden, we support and respect the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which is outlined in the United Nations Global Compact principles 1-6. We are members of Amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) and our Code of Conduct states, among other things, that we work actively to protect worker’s health and safety when producing our products, fully in line with Amfori BSCI´s Code of Conduct.

Maria Foerlev is the founder of Etage Projects, a Copenhagen-based gallery that seeks to actively question and push the lines between art and design, abstraction and function. Her space provides a platform for artists whose work fall somewhere in between established genre notions, thereby broadening the definitions of contemporary art, architecture and design in the 21st century. To break with tradition and norms, Foerlev believes that you have to trust your instinct – but also do your research. To her, it is through the meeting of things that new ideas form.

Tiger of Sweden Fall Winter 2021 collection:
Life

Introducing the Tiger of Sweden Fall Winter 2021 Collection – a collection inspired by Life in Stockholm. Presented at London Fashion Week in February, this is the first Fall Winter Collection from Design Director, Bryan Conway.

‘’Observations of what is happening around me. Of life and how people are living here. There is the element of being a voyeur in the city in which you reside, just going for a walk and watching life as it unfolds around you’’ – Bryan Conway

Tiger of Sweden
REIMAGINED STAPLES

Our Spring Summer 2021 is a collection that breaks tradition with new ideas and ways of seeing with each piece ready to be discovered and taken on its own unique journey. For Spring Summer 2021, the starting point is the idea of the Grand Tour, a journey undertaken in the seventeenth century to gain knowledge in both the classical arts and other cultures. Taking the brand through their own renaissance is new Design Director Bryan Conway who with the Tiger of Sweden Spring Summer 2021 collection is rediscovering and recontextualising the heritage brand.

”Most people describe Peter Celsing as a brutalist architect, but I think this is somewhat misleading. To me, his buildings are incredibly beautiful and I see a great humanism in the way he designed. The clearest example must be Kulturhuset (the House of Culture & City Theatre) in Stockholm. A building that provoked heated objections as it was being built, but that has grown to be incredibly important to the city.

The same humanism is evident in the interiors and furniture that Celsing created. To be able to reintroduce the Club chair that he designed together with Erik Karlström for Filmhuset (home to the Swedish Film Institute) is both humbling and exciting. The building is an important modernist masterpiece and the chair is a timeless classic in its own right.’’

– Christoffer Lundman, Creative Director

The fashion industry needs to undergo a fundamental and radical transition in order to start offering products that are sustainable at heart. At Tiger of Sweden, we are committed to taking an active role in this transformation, by working in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12 - Sustainable Consumption and Production. Hand in hand with this, we aim to have completed the shift to 100% preferred fibres in all our garments by 2030.

Multiple steps will need to be taken in order to reach this ambition. One important such step is to raise awareness of how materials and garments are produced, in order to fuel design decisions that drive the usage of preferred fibres. Another is to limit production waste and minimise the use of chemicals and water in the production of our fabrics and garments. In doing this, we are gradually taking on an increasing number of initiatives to decrease the environmental impact of our products. Read more about the initiatives below.

Born from Ethiopian parents in Germany, Sara Nuru started working with Non-Governmental Organization Menschen für Menschen (People for People) at the young age of 20. Since then, she and her sister have founded the social business “NuruCoffee”, which support microloans and education for women through fair trade coffee sales, but also connecting them both back to their African roots. Performance
Spring Summer 2022

With strong ties to London, the collection was presented during a physical event in Montague Square Garden and streamed live on social media.

klässbols
Linen collection

The starting point of our summer collection was the exploration of craft – an unwavering appreciation of artisanship. With a combined commitment to quality craftsmanship, collaborating with Swedish heritage brand Klässbols Linneväveri was a natural fit for the collection. The Klässbols styles are crafted in a mono-material composition facilitating post-consumer recycling at the end of the garments' lifecycle, which helps ensure already produced materials stay in the loop longer. In essence, this unique collaboration strikes a balance between heritage craft and the quest for innovation - intertwining artisanship with function coupled with directional detailing.

Tiger of Sweden ALL Collection: Volume I

Its genesis is rooted in the launch of the first Tiger of Sweden women’s collection in 1997, which was quite simply a selected edit of the best suit shapes put straight onto a woman. With our heritage in tailoring and commitment to making the suit accessible for all, this was naturally the first style we would focus on for our recurring ALL Collection.

Reimagining the collection of 1997, many important design aspects were considered when creating a suit which is not only crafted with the male silhouette in mind but rather a hybrid of a suit making the fit and cut versatile for both men and women. Tailoring is all about subtleties and so this became our approach when designing the collection, creating subtle changes to make this suit wearable for all.

Suit guide for men and women

We are passionate about creating modern interpretations of classic suits for men and women. Honouring our design heritage of over 120 years, we design timeless staples that will last you a lifetime. To ensure you get a tailored fit we have created this guide with our best advice to find the perfect suit for you. Below, you can learn how to wear a suit, and read about different fits and styles to create the perfect suit fit for any occasion.

“The Pre-Fall collection is about getting out of the city, finding that clearness of mind that comes when you’re close to nature. In Sweden we crave that; I go a bit crazy if I spend too long in my urban life. We wanted to bring an outdoorsy feel to clothes in the city. So, there are sandals over hiking socks, a pretty dress worn with a chunky knit. In the tailoring we’ve done some suits with shorts instead of skirts – they’re kind of attractive and awkward at the same time.”

– Christoffer Lundman, Creative Director

Tiger of Sweden Summer Collection 2022

The starting point of this collection was the exploration of craft – an unwavering appreciation of artisanship. With a combined commitment to quality craftsmanship, collaborating with Swedish heritage brand Klässbols was a natural fit for the summer collection.

Working with Klässbols created a unique synergy – examining the place of craft in design and placing it in a contemporary context. This collection is the first time Klässbols have developed fabrics with a fashion company – working closely with the Tiger of Sweden team resulted in a collaborative journey ensuring the natural quality of the linen was highlighted without compromising the cut.

As a brand formed by Swedish values of equality, function, and meaningful design, our All Collection Volume I is a step into our future - rooted in our past.

Kacper seeking out the changing light of autumn and Felix capturing the harsh contrast of winter darkness. Driven by curiosity, celebrating the unobserved and minute, recording everyday life through a lens.

“I have always loved the shadows created by leaf heavy trees on objects that maybe are there just for that moment, such as on the side of a van or a bike. Moments that are fleeting become very unique in that sense.” Kacper Kasprzyk

Similarly, a dress that is wrapped taut, almost in knots around the body sits next to a dress redacted and reduced to only the essential parts.

Tiger of Sweden Spring Summer 2022 collection:
Performance

Named ‘Performance’, the concept behind the Tiger of Sweden Spring Summer 2022 collection is the translation of dialogue between performance and movement – a visual exploration of how the body moves, connecting both energy and expression.

Our Strive towards Sustainability

At Tiger of Sweden, we strive to positively influence industry change and facilitate the mindful consumption of consciously designed garments.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create responsible garments designed to last. We stand for design rooted in quality craftsmanship - with collections living beyond seasonal trends.

Guided by our core values of responsibility and courage, we invest in conscious practices that make a difference and strive to be a brand that explores collaborative and innovative ways of becoming more sustainable.

We stay humble to the fact that we work in a polluting industry with the continuous need to improve our approach and build a community of changemakers to better our planet and its inhabitants.

To accompany our Spring/Summer 2020 collection and bring the inspiration behind the collection to life, we asked studio MME A-S DÅVIK to create a limited edition jewellery collection – exclusively for Tiger of Sweden customers.

The jewellery line, consisting of Corsages for neck and wrist, and a tube necklace, is inspired by the Swedish Botanist Carl Linnaeus. All jewellery are hand made in Sweden in recycled sterling silver and can hold flowers or be elegantly worn by its own.

The ALL Collection continues to reinforce the brand's sustainability efforts. It is the most sustainable Tiger of Sweden collection yet - with conscious fabric sourcing and more sustainable dyeing techniques and trims. Sustainability and craft are intrinsically linked throughout this collection.

In the glass forge of Orrefors located in the forest of south Småland, Sweden, Simon Gate and Edward Hald blew life into the glass in a way that was beyond craftsmanship at the beginning of the 1920s. Simon Gate and Edward Hald were the modernizers of the glass art form. The glass was treated as a modern canvas where everything seemed to be possible: the classic shapes, the nuanced expressions of abstractionism and contemporary scenes. The artists renewed the art of etched glass, where the thousand-year-old technique and Neoclassicist design met modernity.

In our Fall/Winter 2019 collection, garments are printed with photographic studies of the delicate engravings that Edward Hald and Simon Gate created for Orrefors glassworks during the Swedish Grace era. These studies of mythological scenes from antiquity are perfect examples of the time, as they balance the modern with the classic in a refined way. We are immensely grateful for the sharing of these studies by our friends at the foundation Glasrikets Skatter Orrefors.

Swedish Grace inspires our Fall/Winter 2019 collection: an artistic movement, encompassing architecture, design and craft that emerged in the 1920s. A short but intensely creative period that coincided with Sweden’s transition into a modern, industrialized nation.

Read more about Swedish Grace and the art glass from Gate and Hald in our 1903 Journal.

The art of blowing glass is a complex process which requires years of experience to master. You have to work in perfect harmony with the glowing mass of melted sand to shape it into new creations. Observing the process resembles watching a dance. The production moulds are weaved of locally grown willow, picked by designers from the Åhus area. When the hot glass is blown into the mould, smoke, steam and a beautiful scent from fresh branches spread out within the glasswork. The mould changes slightly for each created vase; some branches shrink, redirect, burn away or form a new shape. This makes each single object unique.

Lithuanian/Syrian tour de force Silvana Imam is not afraid to push boundaries. Sometimes that means just being herself. Her expressive work is often labelled political and uncompromising, as she never shies away from giving voice to her beliefs. It's about feminism, it's about equality, it's about inclusiveness, and it's about freedom. Words matter, and no one knows words better than Silvana Imam.

We care about our suits and even more, we care about you. With a heritage of over 120 years of craftsmanship within tailoring, we know that a suit can be with you for many years if you take care of it properly. To ensure that your Tiger of Sweden suit remains elegant over time we have gathered our best advice in this guide.

New silhouettes are seen in many seasonal staples expanding our exclusive ALL Collection capsule into a more extensive offering, including accessories and footwear.

Fall Winter 2022

Continuing with a similar narrative as the summer collection, Fall Winter 2022 embraces traditional craft with a contemporary spin – nostalgic references are seen throughout, preserving the thoughtfulness of quality craftsmanship.

Craft is irrefutably personal, and this personal approach is celebrated in the collection. Designs honour Tiger of Sweden’s tailoring heritage whilst also honouring artisans of craft – journeying along with the people and the process.

“With a long-standing history in craftsmanship and making beautiful clothes, all of our garments are carefully designed to last for many years. From our tailoring heritage to our modern uniforms in a changing world, we are challenging how we should look and how we should create more sustainably. Our commitment to innovation informs our sustainability efforts, both locally and internationally, and this commitment is as strong now as it was when the company was founded in 1903.”

– Bryan Conway, Creative Director.

The Festive Collection

The starting point of the collection was the exploration of the art of dressing up and the nuances of watching a performance. A shift in approach was needed to transform the conventional expectations of evening wear and what festive attire means in today’s landscape; the blurring line between staying in and going out.
The collection strikes a balance between function and polish - offering comfortable, refined pieces imbued with a sense of ease and freedom.

Gifts for Her

Invest in a gift she’ll never forget with our edit of classic staples that will refresh any wardrobe. We have curated our favourite gifts for her, from small tokens to investment pieces that will be cherished for years to come.

Alex Foxton grew up in English farmland, studied fashion at Central Saint Martins and worked as a menswear designer for luxury brands in Paris and Milan before an obsession with sketching imaginary characters in the margins of notebooks and official documents turned into a career as a painter. Now he creates expressive portraits – in oil, plaster, household gloss paint and glitter – mostly of men, both real and dreamed, in an effort to explore the effect image has on identity.

Kristina Åberg is the producer behind films like The Nile Hilton Incident, Metropia and Regretters, as well as a reporter at the foreign affairs desks of national news programs in Sweden. Whether she reports from war inflicted areas or produces movies about the darker sides of real life, her stories are often uncomfortable – but necessary. Central to her philosophy is that when you work together, 1 + 1 is always greater than 2. 2018 she was rewarded the prestigious Swedish film price the Guldbagge Award as the producer for The Nile Hilton Incident.

We need to stop global warming. At Tiger of Sweden, we are dedicated to taking an active role in the transformation of the fashion industry in order to support this cause, whilst staying humble to the fact that this is a big and complicated issue. In our work, we are guided by, and committed to, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 - Climate Action. Our aim is to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and fully offset the carbon footprint for our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2025. This means that we plan to fully offset the emissions of carbon from our products and business.

In order to do this, we have a lot of work ahead of us, including making calculations, estimations and clearly stating the definitions of our work. This is a big task since the majority of the emissions which our company indirectly drives are actually located at our suppliers´ and producers´, which are not in our direct control.

It is important to state that offsetting carbon is an intermediate step for us, applied during the process of transforming how the fashion industry works with product creation. Today we use carbon offsetting to be able to cover for emissions which we cannot fully eliminate. Tomorrow, we need to focus fully on not releasing emissions in the first place. To continue our work in the direction with the requirements of the Paris Agreement and limit global warming to 1.5 degrees, we have partnered up with the initiatives listed below.

The 1903 Journal is a biannual publication which brings to life the enduring presence, places and works of people who inspire us and our collections. The third issue of our Journal is about Swedish Grace; an artistic movement, encompassing architecture, design and craft, that emerged in the 1920's. A short but intensely creative period that coincided with Sweden’s transition into a modern, industrialized nation.

The 3rd edition depicts the seemingly effortless elegance of the Swedish Grace era that worked as an inspirational backdrop for our Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The collection features clear references from the inspiration in the form of all-over prints with engraved glassworks by Edward Hald and Simon Gate, print details from buildings, and other works of art.

Tiger of Sweden High Summer 2020 collection: a collection is inspired by the Swedish Doctor and Author Axel Munthe and his Villa San Michele on the top of Anacapri on the island of Capri. Munthe created a place of magic. Arches, pillars, marble pieces laid into a chaotic mosaic, as well as ancient sculptures and an abundance of plants, all create an environment that echoes the life embracing character of its creator. The collection is all about freedom, nature and the fluid lines between sea and sky on hazy summer days.

At Tiger of Sweden, we want to make sustainability a priority in relation to every single piece we create. All products start with the raw materials used to create fabrics – in other words: the fibres. We have designed a ‘Preferred Fibre Standard’ that enables our product team to make sustainable decisions when choosing materials. The preferred categories on the list include recycled fibres, organic fibres and fibres from certified sources. Our short-term goal is to have 50% of all the fibres produced for our collections coming from our preferred fibre list by 2023. Due to the long lead times in the production phase, we expect to see the first significant shifts during 2020.

The Preferred Fibre Standard is developed as a guiding tool in sourcing materials and fibres, as well as in measuring our progress towards creating increasingly sustainable products. It is also an interactive tool that will be updated when necessary, for us to be up to date with the latest research and innovations in relation to fibres and production methods. As stated in our current focus areas and actions, we believe that the quality level always needs to be the top priority. Lowering the quality-level of a garment is to us contradicting on our entire journey towards becoming more sustainable; this, as an unsold, un-used or a low-quality garment is a complete waste of resources. Thus, we always have quality aspects top of mind when sourcing preferred fibres. We want our consumers to cherish the garments that we have created in the same way that we do. Find out more information about our Preferred Fibre Standard here.

Born in Teheran in the midst of the Iran-Iraq war, Shima Niavarani and her family came to Sweden as immigrants, and the outsider perspective has been a part of Shima's creative process ever since. Through determination and a belief in storytelling, she has fashioned her own world of acting and performing through which she questions, explores and negotiates her own social identity, and by extension, the structures that shape all of us.

Many people remain in the false myth that suede is a sensitive material. Suede and nubuck are often more durable than leather. On the other hand, suede is a difficult material to care for and keep up with. But there are tips and tricks that keep the suede and nubuck shoes nice and clean.

Sneakers and tailoring are a combination that works perfectly together. We like to wear our suits with a pair of elegant sneakers to get a more effortless and lighter approach to the look. But tailoring and dirty sneakers is a combination that we prefer not to see.

A pair of sneakers is as important as a pair of dress shoes in your closet, and it isn’t just a wear and tear shoe. If you look after your sneakers they could be with you for many seasons. Here are a few tips to make them wearable longer.

"In Sweden we live so much outdoors. Moving back to Stockholm after 15 years in London made me realise how much I’d missed the closeness nature. I find myself more and more escaping the city, spending weekends at a cabin owned by some friends. What we wanted for High Summer was to bring the outdoors into men’s urban wardrobes – that sense of comfort and practicality."

– Christoffer Lundman, Creative Director

The Jean Style Guide

Our Spring Summer 2021 is a collection that breaks tradition with new ideas and ways of seeing with each piece ready to be discovered and taken on its own unique journey. For Spring Summer 2021, the starting point is the idea of the Grand Tour, a journey undertaken in the seventeenth century to gain knowledge in both the classical arts and other cultures. Taking the brand through their own renaissance is new Design Director Bryan Conway who with the Tiger of Sweden Spring Summer 2021 collection is rediscovering and recontextualising the heritage brand.

Tiger of Sweden Summer 2021 collection: Wrapping and Revealing

‘’‘It was how these two opposite emotions and physical reactions could work together, either harmoniously or contradictory, that was the starting point of the collection and what we wanted to explore’.

In the MME A-S DÅVIK atelier, situated in an old castle on a small island outside Stockholm, each piece is made by hand. ‘Over time the design process has been distilled and the focus has shifted. Today my aim is to make items and garments that will last generations,’ Dåvik reflects. In natural materials of silk, wool, cotton or linen, all carryover fabrics from Italian mills, each piece is made to order with its destined owner in mind. The silhouettes are simple, to suit various bodies, yet with the subtle drama that is characteristic of a MME A-S DÅVIK design. Summarizing the philosophy of the atelier, Dåvik concludes: ‘There must be a reason to add a piece of design to the world, and an owner that will enjoy its beauty and care for the piece over time and for generations to come.’

MME A-S DÅVIK designs are born from research – journeys through time where encounters with the beauty of the past inspire the work. With its strong, clean lines the neck-ring embodies the theme of the current Tiger of Sweden collection, Swedish Grace, referencing the 1920s style that integrated the antique into modern designs with pure shapes. For the neck-ring, Dåvik’s source of inspiration was two late Swedish Grace era artists: the furniture designer and later architect Greta Grossman (‘there was a chair by Grossman that I got particularly stuck on, a palisander chair with a black oval back’) and the silversmith Wiwen Nilsson. The neck-ring’s title, GGWN01, incorporates the two designers’ initials in a respectful tribute to those whose work inspired it almost a century later. As Dåvik emphasizes: ‘My designs are always in connection with what has come before. My universe is evolving through time, filled with elements that inspire me, interpreted in my way.

Tiger of Sweden Fall Winter 2020 collection: a collection is inspired by Greta Garbo . Greta Garbo must have understood that New York would offer her space to go unnoticed when she settled there some years after her early retirement from Hollywood. She bought an apartment in the exclusive Campanile building, at 450 East 52nd Street, and continued a life shrouded in mystery, avoiding the press and the public as much as possible, just as she had in her silver screen heyday.

FIBRES WE USE

The generic way to divide the fibre groups is by natural fibres and manufactured fibres. Natural fibres consist of animal and cellulosic. Manufactured fibres consist of human-made cellulosic, synthetic fibres and others.

Animal fibres are hairs, feathers or material that can be produced from animals. Cellulosic fibres are different materials from plants, that can be divided into fibres extracted from seeds, stems and leaves. Human-made cellulosic fibres come from natural fibres re-made by processing into similar ways as synthetic fibres. Synthetic fibres are mostly made from fossil fuels, but there are options sourced from renewable materials like corn and seed oils.
