Our dear friends in Mando Diao released their 4th album “Give me fire!” earlier this spring. Now they are kicking off the second part of an extensive European tour. The tour starts in Stuttgart on the 15th of October, and follows with gigs all around Europe, before ending in Paris on the 5th of December. In addition to the shows Mando Diao will play private unplugged sessions to a very small intimate crowd. So small that you can talk to the band between songs. Tickets are extremely limited, so hurry up! This is a unique opportunity to hear new versions of Mando Diao songs as if they played in your own living room. For more info about the VIP sessions go Here.

We’ve just opened up a temporary shop at CLEOFE Concept Store in Cremona with our Italian friends Giovanni, Fabio and Veronica. The city of Cremona dates back to the roman time and was also the home of the violin manufacturer Stradivarius. Swedish footballer Anders Limpar played for the city’s team Cremonese during 89-90, before joining Arsenal. The shop will be opened from the 4th of April until the 2nd of May. If you happen to be in Cremona, make sure to stop by.

More news on the store front. We’ve just opened our first store in Canada. In fact, it’s our first store ever outside of Europe. Jonas and Emma from the office in Stockholm went over to help Laurence our Canadian friends with the opening. The store opened on March 17th on 1130 de Maisonveune ouest in Montreal, and carries all of Tiger of Sweden’s lines. If you happen to be in Montreal make sure to stop by.

Today we got a visit from the pleasant Pier Luigi Loro Piana, the owner of Loro Piana. Pier Luigi is the sixth generation who runs the family company. Loro Piana is the world’s largest supplier of cashmere and delivers the finest fabrics to worlds largest fashion houses.
Pier Luigi is in Stockholm to talk about the Wave, which I’ve written about earlier. If you missed it, the Wave is a true innovation. It’s a fabric made by a mix between thin cashmere and silk. Together with a new twinning technique, it makes a fabric just as light as smooth. For example you can fold it several times and put in a bag, and take it out without a crease.
The Wave jacket can be found in Tiger of Sweden stores now.

We’ve just opened our first Concept Store in Århus, Denmark. The store is the first Concept Store exclusive for men, which carry both the Black Label and Silver Label, alongside with Tiger Jeans.
If you happen to be in Århus, make sure to stop by (Store Torv 16). Here are some
pics from the opening ceremony where Danish upcoming singer Karen Groth performed:

This weekend the Copenhagen fashion week took place, where we exhibited at the trade show Gallery. Emma, who is a stylist at Tiger, brought some pictures with her back from the fair, where we showcased next seasons autumn winter collections. Read more
